vegas baby

we followed brian out to vegas, because he can do that drive in his sleep.  so we had to eat at in & out burger, of course. 

bryan tried to wear out the boy. 

ah, the desert. you'll always have a special place in my heart.

bryan is sortof afraid of sting rays... 

that'll happen when such a seemingly harmless animal kills your hero. 

this sawtooth shark was awesome! he kept swimming up behind us & scaring the bejesus out of us. 

then we made it back to the hotel room in time for the kentucky derby race. if ya can't be at churchill downs the next best place is vegas. we made our bets. bryan took a big risk & won the trifecta or what did you win, honey? whatever it was it elicited this happy dance.  

then it was off to our friend heather's parents house for the rehearsal dinner...  

i photographed luann's wedding several years ago... it was so great to catch up with her. 

finn was a bit smitten with sydney.

then i shot the wedding on saturday & bryan and the kids played in the pool most of the day. 

on the drive home we stopped to see the new bridge over the hoover dam. very cool.

& then to avoid traffic & to give us all a break we stopped by a lake to throw rocks. 

kylie was in heaven playing in the water. 

lil mini dust storms kept stirring all around us.

what a great weekend. a whole lotta driving, but a whole lotta fun with our vegas family.
