i love me a good reunion with some pj-ers'.

i consider myself incredibly lucky to be a part of the w.k.u. photojournalism family.   we have a special bond that was formed over our all nighters inhaling developing chemicals or taking breaks over the light tables, laughing at how ridiculous our last themed party was. (we threw some awesome parties.)  some of those amazing friends came out to phoenix. jonathan & nicole were in town from chicago with their beautiful lil girl, they lovingly call fig. (which i think is one of the most creative nicknames!) brian & wendy flew in from cali with their super cute & funny lil girl, zoey. wendy & brian stayed with us & it was so awesome to have them. it was their first trip with the kiddo & they did a great job- we all know how overwhelming that is!

& then they left & it was just us again...

but rolling & reaching is still her preferred method.

so we'd set up a tripod for those group pictures up there... & later that afternoon finn found my tripod in my office & set it up & was pretending to take pictures with it. lord, not sure i could have loved that kid more than i did in that moment. it was so precious.
