okay my next few posts will be massive attempts at catching up. story of my life. broken record, because i know you've heard me say that before. but here ya go!
my dear friend melissa had a birthday so marnie & i took her out to lunch with the kids at the farm. one of our favorite places because it's got a huge lawn area for eating on picnic tables so the kids can go crazy & we can enjoy ourselves. here's the ladies lookin tough!

my friend sarah called & said do you want to see obama today? in about 3.5 hours? um, yes. yes i did. i had a babysitter so i called her to ask if she could stay longer & she could one extra hour. i called my friends andy & arielle & they came over & watched the kids until bryan could get home. so glad that worked out. i'll take any chance i can to hear this man talk in person.

i babysat micah for a couple hours (emma's lil brother) so emma & melissa could have some special time together. he was easy peezy... as seen below :)
& when they got back we all enjoyed some amazing macarons from essence bakery. thanks melissa, they are way too yummy.
