so i've decided on a new a method to catch myself up on this thing! i'm allowing myself 20 pictures per post on a month. but that doesn't apply until after december :) tehee.
enjoy our month of christmas! in AUGUST. gah.
maya's first painting. she was so clean about it, so gentle & careful.
it's now hanging next to finn's in their room.
we picked out our tree at a local tree shop.
it smelled so good, but i think i was slightly allergic to it.
the bottom was slightly heavy.
i allowed bryan to take finn for a haircut. NEVER AGAIN.
i nearly cried, my sweet boy's hair is gone!
nana came to visit & they decorated a train gingerbread thing.
mom's policy was eat one, put one on the train. they had a blast.
we were supposed to go to zoo lights, but it rained! in phoenix! so we had everyone over for a mini holiday party where we lit Hanukkah lights & made cookies.
love it when they crash on the couch & snuggle.

the helicopter was a huge hit.
nana wanted a lil session before she headed to her plane...
we left cookies out for santa.
i bought them a rocket thing, they had to build it & they had a blast jumping on it
& seeing how high it would go.
& then when maya napped we let finn try out his new bike & it was AMAZING. bryan held on for maybe i dunno, 5 minutes & then finn took off. no fear. tongue out. he is my son!
we made pancakes with my new bottle thing that lets you draw with the batter... i love it.
some happy babes.
we skyped with family over that week... almost every day, so they could watch the kids open presents, which was so cool!
but like last year the kids needed to blow off steam. too many presents, too much excitement, so we headed to the park. nothing but freedom. we were all much better on the way home.
yeah, onto 2013!!!
